For whom

This program is designed for graduate instrumentalists, vocalists and composers from around the world who wish to practice global tradition while engaging in dialog with other cultures. Ideal for musicians who aspire to build a career in the transtraditional music scene in Berlin.


Key features

The program offers opportunities to perform with musicians from other traditions through Creative Musicking. It also allows for in-depth specialization in four career paths – Interpretation, Research, Creation or Management within a transtraditional context. The curriculum is project-based, with sound workshops that guide students from conception to realization.
